Mr. Christmas has been involved in the real estate industry for over 30 years. During this period he has worked in both the public and private sectors; has operated in Western, Central and Atlantic Canada; and has completed a four year overseas posting on behalf of a Canadian Financial Institution.

Selected Achievements:

  • Responsibility for CMHC's innovative housing program including the pilot projects for the Assisted Home Ownership Program and Assisted Rental Program.
  • Establishment of Morguard Trust Company lending operations in Atlantic Canada with annual lending approximating $75 million.
  • Set up and management of new merchant banking operation in Australia owned by a select group of Canadian Pension Funds. Assets equaled approximately $200 million on completion of contract.
  • Management of a $160 million "soft" receivership of a New Brunswick based company on behalf of a Canadian Chartered Bank. On completion 28 properties were sold and various other assets liquidated.
  • Construction completion, lease-up and ongoing management of a large apartment complex in Dartmouth, N.S. on behalf of a Canadian Pension Fund.

Mr. Gerry Callaghan, provides accounting services for the Group. Mr. Callaghan received his designation in 1973 and has spent 15 years in public practice and the balance in industry. He has had positions of Chief Financial Officer with manufacturing and construction companies in addition to his position as CFO of the Canuck Group.

In addition to the above, the Group employs several specialized Assistants, Bookkeepers and Operations Personnel.
